One Step Equation Worksheet Generator
Use this algebra worksheet generator to randomly build algebra one step equation worksheets. You can choose from any combination of additon, subtraction, multiplication or division.
The following options are available for creating this worksheet:

Minimum Number Used
The minimum number that can appear in any problem. Value must be less than or equal to 100. Must be less than or equal to 25 if using fractions. This value cannot be negative.
The maximum number that can appear in any problem. Value must be less than or equal to 100. Must be less than or equal to 25 if using fractions. This value cannot be negative.
*Note too narrow of a range of numbers will cause difficulties in generating problems. If problems can't be generated with small ranges. You will get problems with zeros for all constant values.
Operations to Include
The opperations to include in the worksheet. If you choose '+' you will get problems like:
3 + x = 9. If you choose '-' you will get problems like x - 4 = 12, etc.
Types to Include
The types of numbers to be included in your problems.
*Note that since worksheets are randomly generated sometimes whole numbers will get generated for fractions and decimals since whole numbers can be written as fractions and decimals.
Allow Negative Numbers
Allow the generator to use the negative versions of the range of numbers you entered in addition to the positive numbers.
Number of Problems
This textbox allows you to choose the number of problems you would like to create.
There is a maximum of 50 problems.
Show Answer Key
This option will print a second copy of the worksheet with all answers printed as well.
